AN UNUSUAL SPRING: ART COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN

The Czech Centre London invites children living in the UK to enter our “UNUSUAL SPRING” competition with a piece of art illustrating how life has changed for them in recent weeks.

The competition is part of an international initiative by the Czech Centres around the world and the Centipede educational movement and it invites children across the world to share their thoughts on coronavirus in a creative way.

The works could show how they have been spending their time in lockdown, what they have learnt or how they have  been keeping in touch with their loved ones.

Whether it’s a drawing, a painting, a photograph, a collage or computer graphics children are invited to share their lockdown creations with us.

The winning entries from participating countries will be passed on to the Czech Centres Headquarters in Prague, where the international round of the competition will take place and the best works will be awarded. Later in the year a digital exhibition of selected competition entries will be presented by the Czech Centres.

To take part, email a photo of your child’s creation, together with its title and the child’s age to info@czechcentre.org.uk
Deadline: 31 July 2020

All submissions from the UK will be displayed on the Czech Centre London website.
