Olga Pek in London and Bangor

22 OCTOBER 2014 - Olga Pek, Czech poet, editor and director of Prague Microfestival, arrives in London this Thursday for a week of readings and performances in London and Bangor. With her bold and experimental work, Olga is a young inspiring voice not only on the Czech poetry scene. With her Slovak counterpart Zuzana Husárová they will perform as Amoeba Twins during the North Wales International Poetry Festival on Friday, Oct. 24. Oscillating between the forms of technopoesis, sound manipulation and lyrical (t)hereness, the duo will also be part of one of London´s most interesting poetry celebrations, the Camaradefest at Richmix on Saturday, Oct. 25. And the small UK tour will finish at the Hardy Tree Gallery on Tuesday Oct. 28, when the two poets accompanied by London based Steven Fowler, together forming TŘYIE Collective, will present 3 sound poetic sculptures at the Hardy Tree Gallery.
