MADE IN PRAGUE: Hommage to Vojtěch Jasný starts on Saturday!

2 NOVEMBER 2015 - Celebrate the 90th birthday and lifetime achievements of groundbreaking Czech filmmaker Vojtěch Jasný at the Made in Prague Film Festival this Saturday, 7 November. The spiritual father of the Czech New Wave gets a fitting tribute at Regent Street Cinema with a triple bill of his Cannes Film Festival winning 'Moravian trilogy': Desire (Touha; 1958), When the Cat Comes (Až přijde kocour; 1963) and All My Good Countrymen (Všichni dobří rodáci; 1968).

The Made in Prague Festival is organised by the Czech Centre in collaboration with the Regent Street Cinema, the Goethe Institut London, the Austrian Cultural Forum and Bertha DocHouse, with support of the Moravian Gallery, Brno, Prof. Jiří Voráč, Ph. D., the Department of Film Studies, Masaryk University, Brno and the School of Modern Languages, University of Bristol.
