The Writers and In Spoken Word @ European Literature Night

13 MAY 2015, BRITISH LIBRARY. The ever popular European Literature Night returns for its seventh edition in London with two high profile events. The Writers: a feast of compelling European poetry, fiction and short stories exploring the nature of relationships, childhood trauma and questions of morality with authors including Jesús Carrasco, Evald Flisar and Yasmina Khadra. In Spoken Word presents Europe’s most vibrant poets and spoken word artists hosted by comedian Ava Vidal and including Belgium-Congolese poet, writer and musician Baloji, and spoken word artist and cultural terrorist Joelle Taylor.

The evening events at the British Library will be followed by a reception in the Entrance Hall of the British Library, open to everyone who has attended The Writers or In Spoken Word events. It will include music, a glass of wine and the chance to buy books by the participating authors and have them signed.
