A Low Level Flight

Set in the 60s and 70s A Low Level Flight tells of the relationship between Tana and Vaclav, an ace fighter pilot in the Czechoslovak army, who after moving with his family to the USSR becomes an alcoholic. Using only family and archival material, the director successfully recreates an authentic story and presents history as a set of intimate human stories. Followed by Q&A with director Jan Sikl. Screened as part of the London International Documentary Film Festival.
