BCSA Christmas concert

An evening of chamber music performed by Diversions including pieces by the well-known Czech composers Bohuslav Martinů and Antonín Dvořák and Gustav Mahler, born near Jihlava on the border between Bohemia and Moravia. Also a rare opportunity to hear a work by Erwin Schulhoff, born in Prague to a German-Jewish family.

Bohuslav Martinu: Sonata for flute and piano

Gustav Mahler: Wir geniessen die himmlischen Freuden arranged by Arnon Zimra from the last movement of Symphony no. 4

Antonin Dvorak: Sonatina for flute and piano

Erwin Schulhoff: Susi

 

Genevieve Usher: soprano

Chiawen Kiew: flute

Ed Cooke: clarinet

Chris Underhill: piano

Admission £10.00,  free for BCSA members.
