Czechs at the Frieze Art Fair
The growing Czech presence at The Frieze Art Fair, the biggest contemporary visual art event in the UK is illustrated by two galleries´exhibitions: Hunt Kastner Artworks from Prague will feature new work by Josef Bolf, who, following his ZOO Art Fair 2008 UK debut, has been successfully exhibiting his paintings, drawings and porcelain in most of the major international art events in the past two years. The Italian Franco Soffiantino Gallery will show a new piece by Kateřina Šedá, whose clever and highly praised social experiments are also presented in the Czech Centre’s other autumn programmes.
