Three girls in the volatile phase of late adolescence embark upon a road trip in search of love and career abruptly into the harsh realities of adult life. This directorial debut by Karin Babinska comes on like a cross between SKINS and STAND BY ME, pulling no punches in its depiction of coming of age. With a superb musical soundtrack featuring the best of Czech indiepop including Photolab.

Followed by Q&A with actress Sandra Novakova.

Recent history intrudes on present-day life in this masterful multi-character drama. A beautiful young mother has lost everything in the floods that swept through Prague, and is living in a spartan flat next

to the shop run by her husband. She must choose between two men: her undeserving but beloved husband, and an affable, well situated elderly foreigner. A simple plot develops into an intricate genre piece with an unexpected ending.
