*** POSTPONED *** Ink painting workshop: ignite your creativity with Josef Zlamal

This workshop Josef Zlamal, leading Czech visual artist , explores the fascinating world of drawing. You will learn how to draw and paint with ink on cotton rag. What will be our inspiration? The beautiful world of animals. We start with elephants and continue with a variety of birds and beasts. No previous skills are needed to enter. Why drawing? It is the mother of all creative disciplines, it can enrich your life and help you express your thoughts and feelings. It could also revitalise your creativity. What will be the output of the course? During 90 minutes youwill create 2-3 artworks that you can take home. You will also have an unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of Josef‘s creative process. How? Together you will examine the sketches that are an essential part of his work and otherwise only on view in his studio.

The workshop is part of the

Josef Zlamal
Josef Zlamal is among the most promising of contemporary Czech artists. His work has been exhibited in the company of both contemporary and classic masters (e.g. Otto Dix, Lucas Cranach, Daniel Richter and Marc Quinn), in private institutions and leading public museums (e.g. the Power Station of Art, Shanghai and the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig). His paintings, drawings, sculptures and films confront the viewer with a world of uncertainty. He searches for light through darkness, offering new perspectives on history and geopolitical issues connected with human existence.
