Jaromír 99 at the 2012 Comica

The artist Jaromír 99 will draw live on the big screen in the Drawing Parade at Comica 2012, the London International Comics Festival, promoting his Alois Nebel trilogy and work on Franz Kafka´s Castle, due to be published by SelfMadeHero in 2013

Jaromír Švejdík (aka Jaromír 99) was born in 1963 in the town of Jesenik, the Czech Reoublic. He is an artist, singer, lyrics writer and composer. He started his career while in high school when he fouded his first music band called Chlapi z práce (Guys from work). Today he is active in the Priessnitz formations, the electronic project Umakart and a folk band Jaromír 99 and the Bombers. He is the co-author of the comics trilogy Alois Nebel which later saw both film and theatre productions. His comics and illustrations have appeared in a number of magazines. He is the graphic designer and scrip writer of the movie Alois Nebel which premierred in autumn of 2011.
