Sir Nicholas Winton - A Celebration

Memorial Concert for Sir Nicholas Winton, who rescued 669 Czech children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia, will be held on Friday 20th May 2016 at the St John’s Smith Square in London. The concert will feature readings by actors Jason Isaacs and Rupert Graves, and young musicians from the Birmingham Conservatoire. There will also be performances by professional musicians who are the children and grandchildren of some of the Kindertransport children whose lives Nicholas Winton saved and who would not be here, were it not for him. These artists are: Cellist Sara Lovell, pianists Karin Lechner and Natasha Binder, violinist Marianne Olyver.
