The Kreutzer Sonata

Gazelleship Collective invites you to become fellow passengers on a train journey through Tolstoy’s Kreutzer Sonata. Inspired by Tolstoy’s novella, Janacek's first string quartet captures the locomotive energy of the train journey and the manic confession of the protagonist. Five musicians and an actor weave together Beethoven's masterpiece, Tolstoy and Janáček into a psychological narrative that explores the blurry line between inner and outer reality, music and words, guilt and innocence.

Bill Bingham – Actor Jenna Sherry – Violin Beatrice Philips – Violin
