Czech Conversation Course

Improve your Czech this summer with our conversation courses! The focus of these courses is to improve students’ ability to express themselves in everyday situations. The emphasis is on development of students’ conversational skills. Class activities include dialogues, role-plays, pronunciation exercises and games.

JULY CONVERSATION COURSE
Students should have completed course Lower Intermediate Ib or have equivalent knowledge

DATE: 5 - 26 July 2016
DURATION: 4 weeks
DAY & TIME: Tuesday, 6.30 - 8.30pm

Shopping (different stores, shopping for food and clothes, money, exchange rates, prices).
Visiting the Czech Republic (booking accomodation, buying ticketes, making reservations, ordering food, travelling by public transport, renting a car, understanding the street signs, announcement on the tram/train.
Britain x Czech Republic (small talk, weather, food, fashion).

Students should have completed courses Beginners Ia and Beginners Ib or have equivalent knowledge.

DAY & TIME: Wednesday, 6.30 - 8.30pm

At the restaurant (different types of restaurants, menu, ordering meal, paying, tipping, typical Czech food and drinks).
Travelling around the Czech Republic (asking for directions, orientation, important historical sights in Prague, means of transport, map, travel tickets, time tables).
Free time and hobbies (talking about free time, different sports and hobbies, going to the cinema/theatre, making plans for the weekend).
