Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music 2011: From Bohemia's Courts and Chapels

A first Festival visit from one of the Czech Republic's leading Baroque ensembles sees them introduce us to music by Jan Dismas Zelenka (who, despite being a leading musician at the Dresden court and the most famous Bohemian composer of the 18th century, is still one of Baroque music's best-kept secrets) and by the lesser-known Prague-based composer Johann Joseph Ignaz Brentner. The programme also includes Bach's noble and moving solo cantata Ich habe genug.

Gabriel Eibenová (soprano)
