Martin Zet at Enemies Project

Without any Irish heritage – or perhaps because the lack of it – Martin Zet is invited to create a unique one-off performance alongside poet Philip Terry. Anything can be expected from silence through singing to pure outcry.

The Enemies Project: Irish Poetry – Yes But Are We Enemies?

The performance is part of a collaborative poetry project between Ireland and England featuring 6 of the most dynamic young poets in those nations. Following a country wide tour of Ireland, from Belfast to Galway, from Derry to Dublin, where the poets collaborated to read new works across the nation in the autumn of 2014, this event showcases the best of that work alongside screenings and a discussion. Celebrating the great modern tradition of Irish experimental poetry alongside innovative collaborative practise, Yes but are we Enemies will be a unique evening of poetry.

Featuring Christodoulos Makris, Sam Riviere, Ailbhe Darcy, Patrick Coyle, Billy Ramsell, SJ Fowler, many other Irish Avant Gardists and Martin Zet. Supported by The Irish Arts Council.

Martin Zet's solo exhibition takes place in Divus London from 26 September till 22 November 2014.
