Award-winning Czech fashion designer and Last Fata Morgana curator Pavel Ivančic will talk about his work in Post-Soviet Czech Republic, discuss his personal journey as a designer and explore the work of the new generation of designers he teaches. His talk will be part of Fashion Utopias: Then & Now, a symposium accompanying The British Council and British Fashion Council’s International Fashion Showcase 2016 in association with London Fashion Week.

Czech born Pavel Ivančic graduated from Central Saint Martins College in London. His conceptual couture graduate collection was opening the CSM MA show at London Fashion Week in 2007.

From 2003 until 2011 he worked as the creative director at Prague based label MUSET.
