Second Movement Charity Concert

A concert in support of Second Movement's programme for 2012 featuring the world première of Zátopek! by Emily Howard, commissioned as part of New Music 20 x 12 for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad and presented in partnership with Liverpool Philharmonic, and the UK première of The Three Wishes (or the Inconstancy of Life) by Bohuslav Martinů. The programme including Leoš Janáček's String Quartet no. 2, Bohuslav Martinů's String Quartet no. 3 and Opening of the Springs, and Emily Howard's Songs from Dickens is performed by Geminiani Quartet, Gerald Davidson, Lindsay Bramley, and Ristov Trio. All Czech Centre Friends can claim a discount. Just put CZECH CENTRE in the heading of your email to boxoffice@secondmovement.org.uk and you will purchase tickets at £25 (full price is £27).
