Stories in Translation: Translating the Untranslatable

Following on from last year’s packed event, European Literature Night hosts again a panel discussion with a group of writers and translators, featuring writers Diego Mariani and Witold Szablowski, award winning translator Antonia Lloyd-Jones, and Dedalus publisher Eric Lane. The event is chaired by Dr Fiona Doloughlan and is open to all with an interest in European literature and translation. The event is free but registration is needed. Comics Unmasked: Art and Anarchy in the UK
Featuring some of the most iconic titles in comics, including Sandman, Tamara Drewe, V for Vendetta and Watchmen, this exhibition presents over a century of comic creativity alongside original scripts, preparatory sketches and final work.
