This project is part of the British Council’s International Architecture and Design Showcase 2012 (21 June-23 September); a global gathering of cultural projects that investigate architecture and design from across the world, presented for the London 2012 Festival.

Organised in collaboration with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and Docomomo.

This event was part of Czech Open 2012, the accompanying cultural programme of the London Olympic Games 2012 organised by the Czech Centre London in collaboration with the Czech Olympic Committee, the City of Prague, the Islington City Council, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the UK and other partners.

The Czech Open season presented dozens of Czech artists, designers, musicians and many more who, in collaboration with their British counterparts, created projects for London-based galleries, cinemas, festivals and community spaces between March and August 2012.

Czech Open 2012 was the largest and most visible presentation of Czech culture in the UK in the last decade.
