Veselé skoky Theatre - Edgar Allan Pooh: The Raven

A non-verbal, motion fantasia for six dancers, a violinist and a drummer, telling the story of how a man and a woman live together, but mainly about the way they get along with each other after they have died! A really black humour grotesque, based on the world-famous horror poem.

Watch the trailer on You Tube:

‘Vesele Skoky is an undeniably talented group of young performers who know how to burn up a stage with wit, charm and wild physicality.’ The Prague Post

‘This octet of twenty-something Czechs perform with big smiles, frenetic enthusiasm and barrels of humour.’

The Argus Brighton

‘Vesele Skoky offered the most highly engaging, socially perceptive and challenging show I have seen in ages. Their odes to fighting, kleptomania and alcohol were performed with much tongue in cheek, but most of all they had an energy, confidence and joy in their work that was completely infectious.’ Danz Quarterly, New Zealand
