British Czech and Slovak Association Annual Dinner
British Czech and Slovak Association are holding their 24th Annual Dinner on Friday 27 November 2015 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel. The Annual Dinner is a highlight in the BCSA’s calendar. With special guest speaker Jiří Hošek, the Czech Radio correspondent in London.
The price is £45 for BCSA members and £55 for non-members which includes a drinks reception and three course set menu with wine.
As the UK once again contemplates its future in Europe, Jiří Hošek will provide an affectionate update on how Brits at home appear to their Czech and Slovak partners in Europe and what is the everyday reality faced by a curious Czech journalist.
There will be a raffle with eight top quality prizes, including a stay for two people at two hotels in the Czech Republic, tickets for the Prague Shakespeare Company and wine from Moravia. The prizes for the 2015 writing competition organised by the BCSA will be presented during the evening.
The main purpose of the evening is for those with a shared interest in the Czech and Slovak Republics to meet up in a friendly and supportive atmosphere; you can request seating at a table with your friends or, if you are a newcomer to the BCSA and London, you can be assured that you will receive a very warm welcome.
